Returns

Unfortunately, we are unable to process returns for any international customers at this time. Any international returns made to us will not be eligible for a refund.

Missing Order

If you have not received your order by 21 days after receiving your tracking information, please contact our team at romancecartel@gmail.com and we will look into the matter for you.

Damaged Books and Merch items

Any claims regarding damaged books or merch items are to be emailed to our team at damages@romancecartel.com within 14 days of delivery. When emailing, please include your:-

  • Order number
  • Photos and/or video of the damage
  • Criteria of damage claimed per below.

And our team will assess and assist with replacing the book/item. In the event that we are unable to offer a replacement of the book/item, a partial refund will be offered. All claims are assessed on a case by case basis.

Please note that if you have purchased a book or item from our Scratch & Dent sale, these orders are final and cannot be exchanged or refunded.

Damage Criteria

What qualifies as damaged

  • Deep scratches, dents, tears on the cover greater than 1cm
  • Defects such as missing foil, ink.
  • Crushed corners on cover or spine greater than 1cm
  • Ripped or bent pages that impact the readability of the book
  • Missing pages or text

 What does not qualify

  • Light scratches, dents, tears on the cover less than 1cm
  • Slightly dented/crushed corners less than 1cm
  • Wavy pages
  • Slight page bleeding
  • General wear & tear from reader use

For Australian and New Zealand customers, if it is deemed your item is eligible for an exchange or refund, all items must be returned to us prior to a replacement being sent or refund being processed. We will provide you with return shipping label via email.

We reserve the right to deny a replacement for any person we find that has abused our return policy for profiteering.
